The U.S. Women’s National Team will take on Brazil in two April friendly matches, playing at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Saturday, April 5, 2025 (2 p.m. PT / 5 p.m. ET on TNT, truTv, Max, Universo & Peacock) and at PayPal Park in San Jose, Calif., on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 (7:30 p.m. PT / 10:30 p.m. ET on TBS, Max, Universo & Peacock).
The matches are significant for several reasons, the first being that they will mark the first meetings between the USA and Brazil since their epic clash in the 2024 Olympic gold medal game in Paris which saw the Americans prevail, 1-0, on a goal from Mallory Swanson. Brazil is currently ranked eighth in the world while the USA sits in the top spot.
The U.S. Women’s National Team is no stranger to historic sporting moments and the game at the state-of-the-art SoFi Stadium, home to the Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams of the NFL, will mark the first-ever women’s professional sporting event at the iconic venue, which will host eight matches at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
In preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, SoFi Stadium will debut the natural grass test system to be utilized during the tournament. The installation will take place for the Men’s Concacaf Nations League Finals, scheduled for March 20 (Semifinals) and March 23 (Third-Place Match and Championship). The grass system will remain in the stadium for subsequent marquee events, including the USA vs. Brazil clash on April 5, 2025.
